Audrey has never been a big fan of hot meals. Since she was a baby, we’ve had to put her food in the freezer after it’s pulled out of the oven before she’d eat it. (For a while, she even thought the blessing on the food was so that her food could get cold.)

But now we’ve come up against a new one — she’s also telling us that things are too cold! So today I quoted this scripture to her, Revelation 3:16: “… thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” (or the best that I could do off the top of my head).

Obviously, since she’s not yet three, she didn’t get the reference. She said, “What out of your mouth?”
