Enter the Matrix (or The Matrix Revolutions)

Sarah and Audrey in our new Toyota MatrixSarah finally convinced me to let her get a new car. We spent a couple of nights browsing used car lots, but she’d already had her heart set on the Toyota Matrix because she likes how it looks and it gets really good ratings from Consumer Reports. (She still likes the Honda Fit, but they’re all too new and pricey for us.)

She found a nice 2003 Matrix at a dealer in Bountiful called Affinity Auto for a pretty good price, so we decided to go for it on Tuesday night, and we did all the paperwork and picked it up Wednesday. Sarah’s happy with the car so far, but on the first day she was too scared to drive it home on the freeway — even though it’s really her car, she made me do it.
