My Recipes - No-Bake Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies

Description: A chocolatey peanut-buttery family favorite since I was a kid

Ingredients:
1 stick butter/margarine
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
3 - 4 Tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups oatmeal

Optional:
Coconut, nuts, marshmallows, cereal

Directions: In large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, sugar, milk, cocoa and peanut butter. Boil for one minute. Stir. Add vanilla and oatmeal. Stir. Add any desired optional ingredients. Stir. Spoon onto wax paper or aluminum foil. Let cool until cookies hold shape.
