The Best Oatmeal Cookies

Description: Sarah's Favorite

Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions: Preheat oven to 350. Beat together shortening, sugar, egg, water, and vanilla until creamy. Add combined remaining ingredients. Mix well. Drop rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
